I was determined to do something arty on Thursday in spite of the art society session being cancelled (ice at venue, very understandable).

So I grabbed paper, fineliner pen and a photo I took of the Bridge House at Ambleside a few days ago and set to work to produce this. The proportions aren’t 100% accurate but as this was freehand with no tracing or under-drawing I’m really pleased with it.

I’ve since tarted it up a bit with some charcoal which I think has helped to bring it to life – and that’s the version I’m posting here. Hope you like it!
