There was an outdoor painting/sketching session for Windermere Art Society last night, and for once it (gasp) wasn’t raining!

A group of us wandered down to the local beauty spot of Sheriffs Walk and although it was too dark under the trees to do much art, we took some photos and then headed back to the nearby Ladyholme Centre to work on them.

This is my effort, in charcoal and watercolour pencil. I quite liked it… until my Other Half pointed out that the tree stump looked like a Weeping Angel… 😆
