View of a view

It rained all morning but the sun broke through after lunch so I went for a walk. Stopped off at the Biskey Howe viewpoint and the view towards the head of Windermere was so lovely I wanted to sketch it, but only had a tiny notebook and a biro in my handbag! Needs must, as they say… and it doesn’t look too bad, considering… But I’m still making a mental note to have a slightly better sketchbook with me at all times!
