A rather wet “outdoor” art session last night, hosted by the wonderful people at Calgarth Park near Windermere. A soggy day meant the outdoor element consisted of dashing out to take photos and then retreating to the (very comfortable) residents’ lounge to chat, drink coffee and draw. A lovely social event.
This is the front elevation of the main building, which was originally an orthopaedic hospital for children. You can see how wet it was from the reflections in the puddles outside the front door!
