This is a new pen and ink sketch of the launches on Derwentwater, moored up at the Keswick jetties. I planned on doing a pen and watercolour wash type thing for this but am now wavering because a. I can’t decide whether to opt for naturalistic colours or something a bit more abstract and b. I don’t want to spoil it!
How do you decide? Plan it all out first or just wing it?
