I realised I’d never shared a picture of my workspace before. So here it is, in all its (cutely small) glory!
Basically, it’s an easel. On top of an old IKEA laptop table. In one corner of an already small and crowded room that’s only 7×5 feet at its biggest, with weird angles and a sloping roof. And I have to do all my writing in that same room, too! Cramped isn’t in it…
But I’ve recently redecorated the space and love how it turned out, and I now have a new (small) desk to put the easel on which should be in place in the next few days. And hopefully after that a filing cabinet to replace the Victorian cake stand I’ve been using to store bits and bobs on. The joys of living and working in a small house!
Does anyone else have issues with lack of space for art?
