Ridges…

We visited the Ambleside Art Society exhibition on Thursday and thoroughly enjoyed it. As an added bonus, the scenery looked particularly dramatic under dark skies and drizzle. This is my attempt at drawing the view of the rooftop ridges and hillside ridges of Ambleside from the churchyard. It’s probably the most detailed scene I’ve tackled yet – all those tiny windows!
