Rescuing sheep

I rescued some sheep! Well, not literally… just this picture, which I’d had a bit of a watercolour disaster with. But using the technique of overlaying pastels that we learned at Windermere Art Society the other week, I managed to resuscitate it!

Does anyone else have interesting ways of rescuing art when it goes horribly wrong?

    Define “horribly”. 😏
    Watercolour is quite an unforgiving medium. I can’t see where things had gone horribly wrong in your painting. So, congratulations! You did an excellent job with it!

      Well, thank you for your lovely comment! I didn’t actually post a picture of the horrible version – this is the result of adding pastels to the water colour, so I’m delighted you like it!
